SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA might be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it's alarmed with regard to the higher quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The provider issue produced for intervention encounters a substantial influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tough for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency website said.
